Wait you had Fano's plane (the projective plane over the field with 2 elements) in a SF story? You do know about the projective plane, right?

I wrote it on the whiteboard, but I came up with it for my scifi story Babirusa I wrote in 2022 in Clarkesworld where characters solve the maze. Here are drawings (from the story). the path (starting & ending at 1) I had characters find is 14736251 (passing through 2, 5, 1, 4, 7, 3, then finally 6)
