This isn't a deep staring at my bookshelf recommendation, but I'm finally reading Stars In My Pocket Like Grains Of Sand, and it's real interesting, a I always expected it would be. Bookshop has it as a standalone (bookshop.org/p/books/star...) and in a collection (bookshop.org/p/books/the-...).
