I know this is gonna sound weird, but this made me think of the *best* thing about door knocking … when you connect with someone who desperately wants to talk about the political environment (perhaps because they’re shut in or don’t want to share w/neighbors) and you can validate their feelings.

I don't like book covers that are pictures of the actors from the TV/movie version and I really hate it when audiobooks change the cover to match. I want the cover of my Fellowship audiobook to be the art that was on the tape covers from 36 years ago, not some image from Rings of Power.

When you read something--a poem, an essay, anything_, or taste something, or hear something that helps you make meaning of your own emotions, your own life even--god. I love that this exists; people creating works that make me say "YES. That's _it_. That's how I feel, thank you."
