Boomer here. Never had kids. Never complained about paying property tax. This is a crazy point of view, always has been. Why would someone want to see their property value go down eventually when schools begin to suffer and fail?

“I should only pay taxes for things I use,” is the attitude of someone who doesn’t care about bettering society. I don’t have kids. I still want my taxes to go to schools because what happens when it doesn’t? *waves around blithely* This crap.
