People are claiming that Elon Musk messed with Starlink in Ukraine because Trump asked him. I think a more likely reason is that Ukraine damaging Russian data centers embarrassed Elon by showing how many of his Twitter followers are nonexistent and how much traffic on Twitter is driven by bots.

I grew up loving my country so much. I was raised in the Concord (MA) area; patriotism was everywhere. America meant courage, honor, and decency, and even our myriad sprawling moral failures didn’t preclude us from heading *toward* our ideals. I don’t recognize this country now.

The United States is now officially allied with Vladimir Putin and Russia. We will fund Russia’s genocidal war machine in exchange for Putin helping Trump and the Republican Party in the midterms. One of the most shameful and disgusting days in the history of this Republic.
