Honestly this is part of why I quit using Twitter and why I’ve been using BlueSky less. When there are so many people following our show, it means a exposing myself to a lot of messages, good and bad. It’s unhealthy and unfeasible to interact with so many people I don’t know and don’t know me.

Should clarify that it's more "theory culture" that I take issue with over theories themselves. Theories can be fun but, when encouraged too much, they can often miss the point of media when it's not about the "deep lore" of things and more about simpler, more universal themes of a story.

Theories and "expectations" have had a nasty impact on culture. They just set people up to get mad when the story the artist tells doesn't line up with whatever people imagined based off "patterns" that don't really mean anything. Wait for the end, enjoy the ride, and let a story be what it is.
