The Basement Bureau had an editorial board where we reflected on what held up and what fell through with our first stories. Top tip for what we'd do differently: get more sources and push harder! Lots of our stories are also bigger than we first thought... long-form is so important. #JOU4970

Scholarships and loans and aid, oh my! Talked a LOT about those three during my student interviews and learned just how much they think federal changes will impact the future of Elon. Can't wait to put their words into writing... #JOU4970

I’m so proud of the storytelling of my investigative journalism students this semester. They have taken on some incredibly difficult topics. I can’t wait to read their final stories next week. #jou4970 #joyofteaching
