Just ran 14 miles in 2 hours and 24 mins. That's a respectable 10:17/ mile pace. Not to mention this run was on rocky trails w/ wet leaves and over 1,500 ft pf total elevation gain. 45 degrees, cloudy, breezy, light rain for a few mins.

What I really need to know here is if the "rocket" one functions as a car in any meaningful sense. I have to imagine it is carrying far more compressed gas and has a few other compromises if it isn't road legal, but does it resemble a car still? I could more easily imagine the rear booster one does

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the actual marketing copy suggests the former is an actual car some people can buy and the latter is a semi-mythical single-seat demo thing that is "invite only."

The flip thing is so dumb. I hate it. A fan car with compressed air boosters solely for straight line use is so cool and you're making it carry all that extra weight to do scripted stunts in parking lots?

There's a lot of conversation to be had in who the Roadster and the Mission S are for. Pretty clear that one is designed to separate car enthusiasts from their money and one is designed to separate YouTubers from their insurance policy.
