You need to familiarize yourself with the self defense statute. The standard is a reasonable belief of imminent death or great bodily harm. That can be achieved in 15 seconds. You are dismissing the totality of Rosenbaum's actions towards Kyle that night. You're focusing on the last 15 seconds.
