This framing assumes professors are all more leftist than our students. My median undergraduate comes to my classes with politics to the left of mine. If I were trying to “convert them” politically, which is absolutely not my goal, I would be turning them more moderate, not more radical.

This 👇 ... BUT, (a) Ko Wen-je and (b) Tsai Ing-wen's monstering of the presidential vote in 11 of 12 Taipei districts – twice – show that the right *candidate* can burst the dam. Lu Shiow-yen's campaign rescue mission is a particularly poor omen.
