People act like fictional media is a court case and they're on the goddamn jury. They have to justify characters they like as good and declare any they don't relate to or conflict with "good" characters as bad and it's exhausting to watch. 🫩

characters like that are a joy to write since they'll spontaneously kickoff plot stuff so easily. and snarky chatty characters are just fun in general for writers. but thats different than "do i want to hang out with this guy?" irl, your patience goes only so far.
