a baby step for people-pleasers: when someone asks “would you prefer x or y?” & your immediate impulse is to say “I’m fine with whichever,” try instead saying something like: “I’m fine with whichever – but if it were up to me, I’d choose x!” (they’re asking bc they wanna know what YOU think!)
