Exactly. Here in Italy even the "niche" side of videogame critique have no idea of how to evaluate an action game. The only parameter taken in account Is the number of moves available to the player ignoring any balance issue "because It is a power fantasy"

That's linked to the fact that the modern videogame discussion and critique has such a low level of knowledge that "immersion" and "realismo" are the only things that have value in a videogame. Hell when you talk about design they think that you're talking about aesthetic
