even she says she doesnt consider herself one, but it says she hosts comedy and karaoke nights at the bar she owns - she IS a performer! i reject the idea that someone who performs in that way isn't a performer just bc it isn't their job

appreciate this article pointing out that she's a performer! i think sometimes stuff like this gets traction bc people don't assume someone like a nondescript looking older black woman has real chops, these moments are always framed as some kind of previously unacknowledged natural talent

One theory I have about a Film/TV Production Head that I would argue applies basically since 2010 or so is your job is mostly a balance between "Talent Management" and "IP Management" and not much else.
