I hear a lot of people in the US complain about protesters, especially when things get rowdy (by our standards), but these same people rarely listen to what people are asking for, instead acting as if protesters should just give up when the government doesn’t listen to them. That’s lame as fuck.

Isn’t it crazy how around the world right now millions/billions of dollars are being spent on police overtime and military equipment to beat up protesters (often kids), when instead political leaders could just listen to the people and meet their modest demands for decency and a dignified future?
