That's fair, though the Copernican model was eventually proven to be better once accounting for elliptical orbits, right? I think it's worth stating up front that we will (generally) never actually observe the true DGP, but science is an iterative process by which we inch closer to it.

This is where we have to turn to normative assessments. I think it’s normatively good to have a diverse country that provides equal power and protection to every citizen. Others normatively disagree. It doesn’t make either less “right” in the eye of the norm-holder.
