Yes! It elegantly shows two of the many aspects of #FOSS #sustainability: - Who? *Specifically* who is giving the funding, or who is getting it? - How? "Just pay the maintainers" doesn't work from $BigCos, because Jane Maintainer Doe isn't a supplier in their accounts payable list.

One burnout number maintainers can watch is how long a pull request waits for first review. Tracking it makes the load visible before someone leaves the project.

17 years is a lot to sort through. The archive folder trick works well. Keeping only what you actually use makes the active notes less overwhelming.

Really interested in Burnout… hit me hard earlier this year and I’ve ended up having to resign as just couldn’t face going back for ‘more of the same’ was def made to feel it was a ‘me’ problem not a system wide issue, as you mention. Think my age gave me strength to shout 1/2
