Soup doctor, here. I made a big pot of soup Monday night: carrot, onions, kidney beans, pasta and chicken sausage. It was.. fine? But unsatisfying. It felt like a collection of ingredients in broth and not soup.

I feel like I want to make some leather journals. I discovered that you can get "leather stickers" that are used for furniture and car seat repair. I think I can use these to make journal covers. I'm going to experiment. I mean, in all my spare time.

The NC legislature is controlled by the GOP. They voted to stop collecting gas tax until shortly after the election. They think it will help them stay in office. Sure hope people see through this little game they’re playing. Today, gas was down to $3.68 for regular. That’s still a lot of money.
