I've seen some folks using venmo and ko-fi, which feels easy on the payer side. Can't speak to the receiver experience.

Zelle is fantastic, absolutely no transaction fees either way, and you can attach it to your actual bank account so payments get directly deposited. PayPal is borderline unusable and straight up theft at this point imo.
