Supergiant’s best game IMO. I mean I like Hades a lot, but Hades is a game in which even when you lose, you win. Pyre is a game in which even when you win, you lose, and that’s more interesting to me.

I love all of SuperGiant's games and Pyre being their least popular is criminal because it is by and large the most unique (and easily my favorite). It's a lot of reading but it is so worth it, with a lot of cool, very impactful choices and a ""combat"" system of ritualistic basketball it is so cool
