I'm sure I'm not the only game dev who feels this way, that's why I don't really think that argument holds much water despite it commonly being used with remakes. Especially since most remakes don't even have the same crew making the new version, so whose to say what the devs originally wanted?
Show PostF&H1 is what I imagined. I knew the scope and worked within it. Limitations bred creativity that wouldn't have been there if I could've made absolutely anything and everything. I never felt technical limitations affected what I was making.
