I've had had good things happen in my life, things that made me happy... But today I wake up happier than I've ever been. So deeply in love, so hopeful for the future despite everything in the world, and wanting this feeling to last forever. The first birthday I've had where life seems good.

Getting to deal with another fun aspect of home ownership this weekend - termites! 😭 very negative association for me because a landlord disregarded them in a previous place I lived, so if I’m a little on edge for a few days, please be patient!

Cutting one or both parents, or any family members, out of your life can absolutely be what's right or what's needed for you. Sometimes, there's not much of an opposing consideration to be made at all. Blood is no reason to endure abuse, and I'll die (while poor) on this hill.
