I regularly hear from my friends about new terrible things their parents say or do to them that would have been a relationship-ender for me. Every time I'm a little flabbergasted they even went back home again. You deserve better. Either they'll come around, or you won't anymore.

i cut my mom off after she went i think 24 years radio silence then emails me outta the blue after getting the address from my aunt. im like lady i last saw you when i was 14 and go a month at a time not thinking about you why did you have to ruin that never heard again. died 3 years later from ALS
