The twin massifs of Beinn a' Bhuird and Ben Avon are easily among my favourite hills in Scotland. It's hard to convey scale but these high plateaux are huge and afford miles of lofty sub-alpine walking. Plus, with loads of ridges, spurs and coires there's a lifetime of exploration to be had 🙂
