I auditioned for loads of Unavowed characters and didn’t book any- but the strength of those auditions is what lead to me playing the lead in Old Skies (and auditioning for Hob’s Barrow, Summer Daze etc). Sometimes a No is just a Not Yet.

Auditioning for stuff means never quite knowing what will land, or when. About 7 years ago, I auditioned for a Mary Poppins robot for Unavowed. Didn’t book it. 3 years ago I got cast as Millicent in Nighthawks (Scary Poppins) because Wadjet Eye knew I could do that voice!

Actors know. The 101 class is always a script analysis class. After all, if you don't know and understand the story, and have not dug into the story, you won't be ACTING - just saying words. Deeper you go, you discover more. And that leads to specific, bold choices. It's so important. 😤
