I tried FastAPI 0.152 with those env vars and a local OTLP receiver. /v1/logs got FastAPI's own records, validation errors and unhandled exceptions, but none of my logging.warning() lines. They arrived after pip install opentelemetry-instrumentation-logging and LoggingInstrumentor().instrument().

For the logs, you would need to configure the OpenTelemetry regular configs, as that's what taps into the regular logging system, so that you can get all your logs as well. 🚀 As that is not just about wiring FastAPI internals but sort of monkeypatching standard logs, that's not done by default.
