#Scrivener 3 Tip of the Day: Save your default settings before installing a fresh version of Scrivener. On Windows go to ‘File > Options…’, on macOS go to ‘Scrivener > Settings…’ & open the ‘Manage…’ dropdown menu & choose ‘Save Settings to File…’. Load them into your new version via the same menu.

I'm thrilled to have a creative non-fiction piece in @flarelitmag.bsky.social!! It's one of the more personal pieces I've had published, focused on disordered eating, and I'm happy it found a good home. 🥹 Thanks to FLARE Magazine for putting this wonderful issue together! #WritingCommunity

Honestly I also think we need to re-elevate the critic, the fan, the connoisseur, the knower, the head. You can be SO SMART about music without making music! You can engage meaningfully with how a song is constructed without making a song. Those are also deeply fulfilling!

I just want people to know that making art is actually fun. If you don't ENJOY making music, don't make music-- draw, or paint, or write, or dance. Find the art that is fun and rewarding all the time.
