At trial, the jury found Erika NOT GUILTY by reason of self-defense of her 11-year-old daughter. Prosecution argued premeditation. Jury dropped all charges anyway. The judge agreed. Erika is again free woman, and her daughter is now permanently safe from the man who attempted to rape her. 3/4

It’s funny because when he was in the Senate everyone said we had to tolerate whatever he did/said for practicality sake and now that he’s out of the Senate we’re still seeing influential caucus members mirroring his *exact* messaging to beat back demands for action.
