No, just saying that the US has been thuggish before, which probably makes Denmark more wary. In 1917 DK begged that the Virgin Islands inhabitants (mostly Black) would retain their rights, and the US (at the time very racist) refused the request. A really ugly episode that will inform Greenlanders.
