I was convinced this puzzle was impossible/broken so I finally broke and opened the extra clues... (potential spoilers ahead) ... at which point I realised that there are 2 different ways to make 2 numbers equal 6...

I really enjoyed Hodgepodge. Very nice logic and not too difficult. For me it was more of a 6/10 difficulty, rather than 9/10.
