Unclear (but probable). That's a LONG time for this Council to spend on this person, given their history with him. But the City Council does not hire the City Attorney's staff. The City Attorney does. So reportable action was always unlikely.

What happened could range from Gates on board to them highly suggesting to Vigliotta to rescind the offer and/or negotiate an exit agreement. Will know if he's in the building Monday (and if he signs the anticipated petition for review in the Supreme Court the week after in the Voter ID cases_.
