Yup agreed! Then when I reflected on it more I understood. I just felt it was crazy he was ready to ya know off his ex-gf. Also I do like how they handled the ex-gf and current wife trope b/c Harumi & Cyrax are besties and not enemies and also that Kuai Liang and Cyrax are on good terms as exes!
