Reminder that the $80bn Anthropic net loss figure is going to be 95% driven by warrant liability accounting, an economically meaningless non-cash charge, BUT you can safely flag anyone reporting on it *as if it were real* as not understanding GAAP and whose other accounting takes should be ignored.

If a colleague reports mistreatment, take it seriously and back them up. Many women and non-binary faculty described the lack of response as a second harm. Mostly it’s treating colleagues the way you’d want your own expertise treated, which it sounds like you already want to do.

Include them: invitations to meet speakers, receptions, collaborations, important committees. Engage with their ideas in meetings, and credit them by name when someone else repeats them. Cite, nominate, and recommend their work. Notice who’s doing the unrewarded service, and take your share.
