It’s violence he inflicted against women and his own children with the backing of an expensive “religious” cult and we really have no way of knowing what harm he could still be inflicting on less powerful, less famous women that he knows won’t have a voice.

I know Tom Cruise’s PRTeam is really good at making him seem like a fun relatable guy, I’ve read articles that made me feel fond of him, but objectively I think we should consider his well documented public harassment campaigns against his ex-wives to be a form of family violence and unforgivable.

It just so maddening to think about the levels of violence we let men get away with from the ultra famous public figures to mildly popular niche figures to friends and family. Theres no amount of public scrutiny men cant weasel out of. No level of being unimportant that wont still get you defenders.
