Over at the other platform I'm being called a retard, gay, my art stinks and I never accounted for anything. By the hundreds. I'm not particularly bothered, half of these things aren't insults to me. Just a little glimpse of what happens when you challenge what's been made to look like the norm.

Starting #gamedev I told myself "I'm just a programmer, not an artist" and I have purchased all my art assets and wouldn't even entertain the idea of making my own art. Today I remembered this ... I drew it 40+ years ago! So maybe I should rethink the story I am telling myself

this wave of AI has legitimately killed a huge part of what I loved about seeing stuff online, what I loved about being an educator, and what I loved about sharing my own work I just don't feel like doing it anymore
