I took my 2 year old son to an MLB game today for some quality dad time and he absolutely had a blast. In fact, he was sad when the game ended because he wanted to stay at the ballpark. It was a good reminder that there’s still a lot of joy in life.

Even if Ohtani “mocked” Trump by not posting any photos with him to Instagram; the fact that he and the rest of the team would countenance visiting a fascist leader to begin with is unacceptable. I mean it’s not like baseball players are known for being smart or political, but still. It’s not ok.

I tried to hate the Nationals when they first came to DC, after MLB’s greedy owners had secured a publicly financed stadium. But their manager was Frank Robinson, one of the very best people in baseball. I couldn’t hold the grudge for long.
