About half of Americans say the increased use of artificial intelligence in daily life makes them feel more concerned than excited – up 14 percentage points from 2022. Overall, 52% of Americans said they feel this way in 2023, an increase from 38% in December 2022.

Trying to write what I hoped would be a short sci-fi tale, I've got 15 books open on my desk, with topics ranging from seed banks, genetic engineering, artificial intelligence, sea level rise, colonization of the Americas, a new translation of Beowulf, etc. etc. Should have this short done by 2045.

Wii U launched 12 years ago today. While the system may have failed sales-wise, Nintendo put out VERY good software for it. The fact that many of Wii U's best games are now Switch's best (and most successful) games, speaks volumes.
