something in hindsight really contemptible is the posturing of (some, not all, etc) legacy journalists at places like the NYT during Trump 1 as Heroic Men Of The Press, Speaking Truth To Power when they were basically safe, vs. their craven shit now because they think they might be in real danger

Whatever I'm going to go back to my life but I just want to say i don't even think it's pearl clutching. I want us to win. We need a majority. I want to win previously uncommitted voters. I don't think what you're doing is an effective way to win or build coalitions and that's why I'm against it
