Police will literally invent a reason to beat on and murder a Black person. I have had family experience this. I have been beaten for cooperating. No other reason is needed even if one is given posthoc. They do this because we are Black. That's it.

That said a single person stealing diapers (she was not) is not a threat to capital. They budget for it. Theft is expected and part of the business model. Certainly they will try to prevent it but it was not the potential of stealing diapers that lets cops believe they can murder Black people.

This is to say nothing of how Black people often are or resemble capital or money ourselves and are regularly exchanged as such. I want for 'the left' to put down the economics hammer every so often and consider that there may be other justifications or reasons for domination.

The state does not need the justification of 'threatening capital' to murder Black people. It never has. This country has killed Black people for fun since before its inception. At issue is here is not an economic justification. At issue is the degraded or non-humanity of Black people.
