80-year-olds George & Gladys met at Age UK Hull & East Yorkshire when Gladys unknowingly sat in George's usual seat. The pair hit it off, and seeing how much they had in common, George bought them tickets to the theatre, and they've been a couple ever since. What a wonderful Age UK love story💜

Today feels like a big day! I had my final Oncology appointment this morning, and that's me now signed off with just annual review from now on. A six month journey with breast cancer, which has gone at times very quickly and at other times very slowly. Short (grateful) thread. 1/n
