Though there is much darkness today, I hold tight to the truth that there are many people who will continue to be points of light, lighting the way for those lost in the darkness. Shall our lights continue to shine for those in need.

The Chassidim have pretty much given up gendered definite articles, replacing them all with “duh” — in speech, anyhow. AFAIK, the Soviet orthography was considered antisemitic, and pre-WWII Yiddishists, however secular, were mostly literate in Hebrew.

I support everything except 'free Palestine'. There is no Palestine anymore. Israel was founded there. Palestine is historical and can not be brought back. Neither can Kurdistan, Great Hungary, Burgundy, Inca empire or the USA before european settlers.
