Ugh, we have an extraordinarily authoritarian, pro-censorship, anti-DEI NIH Director, the Great Barrington Declaration/MAHA/MAGA hero Jay Bhattacharya He recently wrote a piece praising himself for “curing” the NIH of DEI A ban on researching health equity and structural racism FFS!

This is exactly what pettiness looks like. The AAP stood up to nonscientific policies that endanger children. The administration retaliated by cutting funding. These policies don’t just hurt “others”—they hurt everyone’s kids, including those who support them.
