Attention span seems to have decreased. Possibly a result of a life that has become increasingly complicated. People seem not to be able to cope with reading beyond headlines & summaries. Or too tired & wired to settle to read. Or seeking quicker dopamine hits. Less focus, less real knowledge.

It's so sad that so many people don't or can't read. My family didn't have much money when I was growing up. But I had a Library card. My passport to other worlds. and when I went to these other worlds sometimes I learned things. And it make me think. Thank you Mr King. you taught me alot

My mom brought us to the library ever Saturday as very young children. We all remained voracious readers throughout our lives… Thank you, Mom🥰 There is no price that can be put on the importance of READING!
