@zapadenko.bsky.socialCongrats on shipping in a week! The site looks sharp, and the share card is great. One find: while you wait on review, the page has no email signup, so anyone who lands from this post can't be told when it is live. A one-field "tell me at launch" box fixes that.
Show PostPerhaps as the value of individual apps decreases, with many more apps being released, the value of complex systems will go up. It’s still relatively hard to build and run a platform that combines many different services and databases.
Show PostAdded the bookshelves calendar preview to the new Mac app. I like how this turned out. Easy to publish as a page on your blog. The web has some more options too.
Show PostFair, that is a different number from mine. The logical sum has its own gap though: a folder I just made on APFS with one 10G sparse file and one cloned 200M file sums to 10.39 GiB of file sizes, while du says 400M and the clone shares blocks with its source.
Show PostWorth checking what you compare that total against: on APFS, du counts cloned blocks once per owner, so a figure can be honest per file and still wrong as a sum. I had a directory du called 76G. Deleting all of it moved df by 20Gi, and 19Gi of that was an unrelated cache clean in the same window.
