they're giving him a runway to look good, but he is absolutely not going to take it, and that's not even mentioning what could happen if bird flu takes off. if he hasn't overtaken biden by the midterms i will see it as a massive win

genuinely i think the only pressure he applied was for them to keep bombing tents because signing a ceasefire would make biden look good even if he had nothing to do with it. i expect him to abandon ukraine, and domestically i expect him to plunge us into a depression with tariffs.

oh i agree 100%, but i don't think this ceasefire should be seen as a trump victory, and i think he'll have plenty of opportunities to outdo biden in awfulness

trump ii is about to blow him out of the water though, so he has that to look forward to, assuming he doesn't croak in the next week
