It was awful . My friend was in tears . Drunken racists were chanting Asians out , my friend was crying and my partner was going to confront one of the abusers. I led him away from the mob . They wanted a fight . We went home . Howard’s Australia Day on the Swan River.

I have never celebrated Australia Day . Went to the fireworks once in Perth . It was the beginning of Hanson . Went with a very Senior nurse born in Malaysia, educated here . We were spat at, had lit cigarettes thrown at us , a chant went up Asians out and asked if she cooked dogs in her wok😢😢
