I made peace with this day long ago, but reading my feed I'm reminded why it was such a privilege to be part of that team, and I can't help but be reminded of the loss I felt when the studio was gutted previously. I wish we lived in a kinder timeline for all of us 🫂💜

Say what you will about BioWare but, at its height, it was the best at what it did and I'm very honoured to have trained and worked with some of the finest folks in the industry. I've been away 10 years now, but I'll always be glad for my time there. *Salute*
Show PostAs much as it's not really a surprise, especially given the industry right now coupled with the Saudi sale, the news today still made me sad. BioWare joins other great studios of the past, with a legacy that will not soon be forgotten. 😔 www.forbes.com/sites/paulta...
Show PostIf you ever wondered why the first Dragon Age took over 6 years to develop (and almost got canceled), this article goes into partly why: the team couldn't agree on what *kind* of fantasy our new fantasy game was going to be. Yes, there's an alternate universe out there where it was more Conan. 😉
