Some people were saying that Masters of the Universe is camp, but I don't think that's camp. Camp knows it's silly, but it's also sincere. It doesn't look down on what it's doing, it doesn't remind the audience that the writers know it's stupid. bsky.app/profile/keyt...

It must really suck to be a scifi writer right now. Writing a story that in some way touches on AI? If they're perfectly human-equivalent intelligences it'll read as out of date, if they're dumb in a way that's surpassed by current gen frontier models at time of publication it'll read as out of date
