time to speak my truth: the stereotypical enemies to lovers in an AU that doesn’t canonically make sense to have a ✨legit✨ enemy (most “real life” scenarios) just feels like an abusive relationship or childish. mentally i can’t suspend my disbelief while reading most E2Ls 😔
Show Posti feel like i should add the disclaimer that i have written a “real life” au E2Ls fic 😂 but it was 100% an abusive relationship and the “lovers” part was debatable. so this is absolutely no shade to anyone who writes it, just an acknowledgment of how i struggle with it
