Good question! For me I'd say 1. Only I can truly put my ideas down in a way that is fully true to what is in my mind and/or soul (like my OCs look most proper in my own hands) 2. The undeniable progress I can see when looking back at previous pieces, no matter if 1 year or 1 week old (⁠◕⁠દ⁠◕⁠)
